Summer is approaching and we are planning a variety of intensives, field trips and retreats to enhance your experience of the season. Take the ferry to Toronto Island and spend time practising in the open air, feeling the earth beneath your feet. Spend a day at the ROM, learning about the inspiring life work of Charles Darwin, or at the Toronto Zoo observing the animal movements that underlie our yoga practice. Enjoy yoga in the beautiful out of doors at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area and experience walking meditation through butterfly gardens and along forested trails (click Special Events for all Field Trips).

Monica Voss and Sandra Campbell will be leading their annual Yoga and Reflective Writing Retreat at Swallow’s Bridge in early August. Deepen your practice with journalling, poetry reading and wordplay (click Ontario Retreats).

We will be running 3 different weeklong early morning intensives over the summer: Qi Gong, Breathing & Meditation and Early Morning Asana Practice. Paola di Paolo will also be offering a full week asana and pranayama intensive in July. Set aside a week and dive deeply into your yoga practice (click Intensives).

Thinking of becoming a yoga teacher or spending some serious time deepening and enriching your yoga practice?  Consider our internationally acclaimed Teacher Training Programme.  Open Houses June 1st and September 14th present opportunities to meet the faculty, ask questions and hear all the details about our approach to training teachers (click Teacher Training).
