A Yoga Teachers’ Weekend with Monica Voss, Tama Soble, Shari Stein, Della Croteau and Helen Kohl
Saturday, November 19 – Sunday, November 20
on Zoom
The workshop will be devoted to increasing your understanding of what older students want from a yoga practice and your knowledge of specific medical conditions such as osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. You will learn to adapt traditional yoga poses, relaxation and breathing techniques to accommodate a broader range of physical abilities in your classes and help students, especially older men and women, calm, sustain, befriend, energize and appreciate their bodies.

Della is especially interested in promoting health, wellbeing and mobility for healthy ageing.
Helen Kohl teaches Chair Yoga to teachers and regularly leads accessible chair yoga classes for newcomers to yoga, the older population, people who want something different than a fitness class, and individuals dealing with injuries or illnesses.
Monica Voss has been studying yoga for 45 years and teaching since 1981. In addition to co-owning and teaching at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto, Monica conducts workshops, retreats and teacher training internationally.
