I was introduced to Rolfing when I was 20 years old. I went on to study Rolfing a few years later after a back injury and an intuitive sense that what I had done to myself could be undone. Rolfing focuses on freeing the fascia in our structure by balancing our relationship to ground and gravity.
Later I studied Somatic Experiencing learning the language of the nervous system. The fascia is innervated by the nervous system and so they impact each other. SE helps people recover from the impact of trauma.
I live in Toronto and have a private practice in Rolfing and Somatic Experiencing.
