| OPEN HOUSE FOR THE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME - October 2010 - June 2012 |
| For those interested in becoming a yoga teacher, enhancing a previous training or simply deepening their own practice and knowledge. We offer a uniquely organic approach to yoga practice and teaching. Our programme combines asana, pranayama and meditation with lecture, discussion, and practicum to create a balanced outlook that will enliven all aspects of your teaching and your approach to the body/mind. You are supported, encouraged, and empowered to question and explore, to find your own path and voice.
Meet the faculty. Bring your questions. Light refreshments will be served. Formal presentation begins at 7:45pm. |

| ZEN MEDITATION WEEKEND, "Entering the Path, Realizing the Way", with EDWARD ESPE BROWN |
Experience sitting and walking meditation with Zen Teacher Edward Brown. With inherent good-heartedness, let's practise cultivating ease, energy, mindfulness, and curiosity, meeting whatever arises.
What characterizes entering the Path is also what marks realizing the Way: beginner's mind, sincerity of effort, careful observation of the obvious. Studying how to be more perceptive, we come to see what we have been overlooking or ignoring. We wake up.
Letting things come home to our hearts, and letting our hearts respond: this is growing to trust our own enlightened nature. With periods of silence, with instructions and talks, question and answer, harmonizing body and mind in the present, we realize joy, well-being, and gratitude. |
