ZEN MEDITATION, The Wisdom of Letting Go, with EDWARD ESPE BROWN
Experience sitting and walking meditation with Edward Brown. We will practise being present with basic good-heartedness, ease, energy, mindfulness, and curiosity, meeting whatever comes. Letting things come home to our hearts, and letting our hearts respond: this is growing to trust our own enlightened nature. With periods of silence, with instructions and talks, question and answer, harmonizing body and mind in the present, we realize joy, well-being, and gratitude.

VEDIC CHANTING with NAVTEJ JOHAR *
Vedic chanting is energizing, centering and calming. It requires precise measure and cadence, correct enunciation, grammatical formation and modulation of sound and breath. In fact, Vedic chanting is in itself a complete mode of pranayama. These workshops will introduce the basic principles of chanting, and teach exercises on how to produce the Sanskrit sounds. Navtej will then lead the group through guided chanting of selected chants from the Vedas and/or the Upanishads.
